Jesse Melendez Odessa TX Obituary, Death: The Odessa, Texas, community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jesse Porras Melendez III, who passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 30. Born on March 1, 1996, in Midland, Texas, Jesse was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, caring brother, loyal friend, and respected master electrician whose life was defined by hard work, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Raised in West Texas, Jesse grew up surrounded by a close-knit community of family and lifelong friends. Those who knew him remember a man whose infectious laughter could brighten any room and whose willingness to lend a helping hand made him someone people could always depend on. Whether family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors needed support, Jesse was the first to step forward without hesitation. His generous heart and humble spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Above all else, Jesse treasured his role as a father. His daughters, Audree Melendez and Valentina Melendez, were the center of his world and the source of his greatest pride. Every moment spent with them was precious, and he embraced fatherhood with unconditional love, patience, and devotion. One of the happiest milestones in Jesse’s life came on July 5, 2025, when he married the love of his life, Alondra Carrasco. Together they built a loving home founded on faith, commitment, and mutual support. Their happiness grew even greater with the birth of their daughter, Valentina Melendez, on January 10, 2026. Jesse embraced married life and fatherhood with gratitude, always placing his family’s needs above his own.

Family remained the cornerstone of Jesse’s life. He deeply admired his father, Cruz Alvarado, whose guidance and example shaped the man he became. His mother, Nataly Alvarado, held a special place in his heart. Jesse was devoted to her, always striving to protect her, care for her, and ensure she knew how much she was loved. He also shared an inseparable bond with his sister, Tiffany Melendez, whom he affectionately considered his partner in crime. Their lifelong friendship was built on love, loyalty, and unwavering support for one another.

Jesse’s friendships were equally meaningful. He possessed the rare gift of making others feel valued and encouraged. Friends describe him as someone who remained positive even during difficult times and whose quiet words often carried profound wisdom. Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jesse Tyler Melendez, and his grandfather, Armando Juarez Porras, both of whom he carried in his heart throughout his life.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Alondra Carrasco; his cherished daughters, Audree Melendez and Valentina Melendez; his father, Cruz Alvarado; his mother, Nataly Alvarado; his sister, Tiffany Melendez; along with many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and all who were blessed to know him.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Acres West 24 Hour Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Mass celebrating Jesse’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember a remarkable husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose love, strength, and legacy will never be forgotten.
